This Privacy Policy describes how VibeSwitch (we, us, or our) handles information when you use the VibeSwitch iOS keyboard app and this website (together, the Service).

What We Do Not Do

  • No keystroke logging: we do not record everything you type. We only process text when you explicitly choose a style or tap a transform action.
  • No accounts: you can use VibeSwitch without creating an account.

Information We Process

  • Text you choose to transform: when you tap a style or a transform action, the selected text is sent to our backend to generate an AI transformation. Text is not sent in the background, and not sent on every keystroke.
  • Website analytics: we use Plausible Analytics to understand aggregated usage of this website (for example, page views and basic device/browser information) so we can improve it.
  • Support messages: if you contact support, we receive the message content and optional contact details you provide so we can respond.
  • Subscription information: purchases are processed by Apple, and subscription state is managed by RevenueCat (we do not receive your full payment details).

Where Your Text Goes (Explicit Action Only)

When you request a transformation, your text is routed through our infrastructure so we can call an AI model. The key third parties involved are:

  • Supabase: we use Supabase to run stateless Edge Functions and related backend services.
  • OpenRouter: our backend uses OpenRouter as an AI gateway to the underlying model provider.
  • RevenueCat: subscription management.

Local-Only Storage

VibeSwitch stores user data (such as settings and transformation history) locally on your device. We do not provide cloud sync and we do not require accounts.

Data Retention

We do not store the text you submit for transformation after the request is processed. Our Edge Functions are designed to be stateless, processing requests in memory and returning results without persisting request bodies.

Some operational metadata (for example, error logs, timestamps, and request performance) may be retained briefly for reliability and abuse prevention, but we do not intentionally log full text content.

Website Email List

If you submit your email on vibeswitch.app, we use it only to send product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in those emails.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. Absolute security is not guaranteed.

Your Rights and Choices

You control information collection via your device settings, including:

  • Revoking keyboard permissions at any time
  • Disabling the keyboard's network access by turning off Allow Full Access
  • Managing subscriptions via Apple settings

Data Sharing

We share information only as needed to operate the Service, including with the third parties listed above (Supabase, OpenRouter, RevenueCat, Plausible Analytics) and as required by law.

Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Policy Updates

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be posted here clearly.
